We have had meals at the kushboo on several occasions now and each time has been excellent. The staff are great, very welcoming and accommodating. We always book in advance as it is very popular and can get very busy. The restaurant is very nicely laid out and has a good ambiance. A huge selection of main meals to choose from at very reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning very soon.
Great Indian in Burton Latimer. The curry is generally pretty good, sometimes a bit too much 'heat without flavour', but overall generally enjoy the meals i eat here.The cocktail bar upstairs is also pretty nice, serving decent cocktails with a decent quantity of alcohol in (which is important!). Staff are always friendly. I would reccomend trying this place at a weekend when there's a decent atmosphere. Have a few drinks and enjoy.
It's not usually this bad but today for example we were waiting an hour for starters and then another hour for mains. The booking was at half past 7 and we got our mains at 9:20, which by the way were all uneven temperatures indicating they'd been microwaved. Second star only because I'll be coming here again in the hope that this was a one off but really, extremely disappointed.
Lovely Indian restaurant food is so delicious , I ordered the chicken Korma, fried rice and bambay potatoes and it was tasty, obviously a Korma is spicy but I tried the madras and that blew my head off, that was really spicy, I thought it was a lot spicier than some other restaurants I think. The atmosphere is great and there's seating and a bar upstairs also. Had a lovely night here.
Absolutely brilliant place! Came here yesterday with a few friends. Lovely cocktail bar up stairs with lounge chairs, 7 each for my cocktails. Has soft drinks too. Then your order. Then when your table is ready you are seated downstairs. Staff were friendly and always so polite. Food is quite cheap for the amount you receive! Able to take food home if you want too. Overall food was brilliant, staff were lovely. Will recommend this place to everyone!
